Dr Alavi and his staff are amazing! The balloon dilation procedure helped my breathing tremendously, I would recommend it to anyone suffering from sinus issues. It would be nice if they were open a bit after 5pm so I could pursue allergy shots, but overall 5 stars! -Kyle B

On my first appointment with Dr. Alavi, I voiced my concerns, he listened very well asked poignant questions and after taking a CT scan we decided that I would do a turbinate reduction and a balloon siguplasty. His physicians assistant, Tri,, was also fabulous, as quite frankly the rest of the staff. They were courteous and professional and always seem to have a smile on their face. Except for some mild discomfort after the first 12 hours which some pain medication took care of, everything after that was a breeze for me. I followed their instructions on how to take care of myself after the operations and everything went as expected.A positive experience for me.

Today, I did see Dr. Alavi, he did accept to see me at short notice and as always he is super nice, professional and knowledgeable. Also, Olga, the office manager is helpful, nice and professional.

I have had so many complications w my sinuses and migraines since having COVID in 2021 and Dr Alavi has listened to all my concerns. I have never had a Dr. be so thorough and take the time to listen and help me. I had a balloon sinuplasty done in 2021 & it fixed my issues at the time then I got COVID again and all my sinus problems & migraines came back, so I came back in May 2023 and Dr Alavi’s Physician Assistant Tri Nguyen has been more than helpful! He has also taken the time to listen and explain everything to me with so much patience and to find a solution to my health. I have finally started a treatment that has helped me and Tri has been there for me every step of the way! I always recommend this office to people! 10/10! Thank you Dr. Alavi and P.A. Tri N. For all your help!

How may I ever thank you for your exceptional and caring ways.
When I came into your office, You immediately saw my eyes and nose and mouth and knew I was in pain.
You saw and felt my pain and knew exactly what was to be done. You were right on every issue that I had… my dry eyes, allergies, running nose, pain in my eyes….eyes crusting at night and day due to my allergies… and so much more I was not aware of.
Thank you, Dr. Alavi for caring about my well-being. You have made me a completely different individual. Thank you!

My husband, Kenny Ramirez, doesn't use Google so I am writing his review for him because he can't stop raving about how much Dr. Alavi helped him with his breathing issues! He had two different nasal procedures done a week ago and although he is still in the healing process, he is thrilled with how much better he can already breathe and he knows it will only continue to get better. He was pretty much living on nasal sprays to be able to breathe up until the procedures were done but now he doesn't even feel the need for anything other than the occasional saline solution during the healing process. And Kenny also really enjoyed Dr. Alavi's great bedside manner; he of course is very professional but also very friendly and put Kenny at ease immediately about getting these procedures done and how much help they would give him. Thank you again to Dr. Alavi and his amazing staff; everyone was very helpful and friendly! We would recommend him to anyone who needs an ENT doctor!

I would like to take this time to express how happy I am with Dr Alavi and his staff. They are heaven sent. I went there and also went ahead and took my whole family. I highly recommend Dr. Alavi. He is so patient and listened to all my needs. I suffered for years sinusitis and was afraid to take the step of getting the procedure I needed done. Dr. Alavi made me feel comfortable and it was the best decision I made to get it done. I can breath better, sleep better and the migraines are gone. Thank you Dr. Alavi for being such a wonderful ENT dr and for truly caring for your patients. And to the staff thank you for being so awesome and welcoming too!

Overall I am very happy with Dr. Alavi and his staff. They made the process of getting surgery easy for me. Dr. Alavi is focused, engaged in his patients well being and knowledgeable. I saw several ENT's before Dr. Alavi I just couldn't seem to put my trust in due to their bedside manner or their lack of confidence in the outcome of my surgery. Dr. Alavi made me feel at home and at ease. I've seen more doctors than I can count throughout my lifetime and sadly have lost faith in most. However he has proven that true healers still exist. His staff was kind and efficient. I truly cannot thank them enough. I had two surgeries and both were beneficial. My pain was managed well and expectations were explained throughly. I highly recommend this Dr. and his staff!

Caring and understanding staff. Dr. Alavi is a thorough and reliable surgeon who made me feel heard. He was quick and efficient. Scheduling is difficult but he’s worth it.

I saw Dr. Alavi for a sore throat/severe nasal infection that I had for several months. On the second visit, he did an in office CT scan and shared the instant results with me. Due to the severity of the infection, he performed the in office balloon sinuplasty three days later prior to his normal day schedule. He is very experienced with steady hands and that resulted in a smooth procedure solving my problem. A Great Doctor and staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Staff was great at helping me set up my apt and remembered me for a canceled apt. Dr Alavi made me comfortable before, during, and after surgery. He made himself available for daily visits, APPROPRIATELY/as needed, following surgery.

I've never been so impressed of a medical staff and doctor in all my life. For one the staff is friendly, helpful, and patient. But even better was Dr. Alavi, from describing what was wrong with me , and the options that I had both, good and bad, and performing my two surgeries at one time ! Impressed!! I have another surgery in near future and plan to go back to ventura ENT to be worked on by Dr.Alavi.

Received billing from treatment in Dec2022 to address balance. Paper bill indicated to call Gold Coast Medical Billing. They indicated they are no longer working with office and to call back to office for contact. Called Dr's office and they gave me a new number to call for billing. Called them and they did not announce their business name and they indicated the person that deals with that account would be back in 30 min. Gave them my name and number. Don't know if this is a legitimate Dr's office or a billing scam going on...

So happy to have found Dr. Avali. After months of going to a GP and many tests later, I decided to be proactive about the swelling and pain in my glands and reach out directly to an ENT. Dr. Avali was able to quickly diagnosis my problem, run a scope and order a CAT scan. Very personable and easy to talk to. He took the time to write down his diagnosis and explain what was going on. Very impressed by his knowledge and "bedside" manor. If you are looking for an ENT, I highly recommend.

Very impressed with Ventura ENT. Dr. Alavi and his staff are very professional, patient, and compassionate. I have been suffering with sinus congestion and ear problems for many years. I hope my symptoms continue to improve under his care and treatment. Victor, Olga, and the entire team has been very accommodating so far.

I have been having sinus problems for years and finally decided to do something about it. Ventura Ear Nose and Throat (Dr. Alavi) came very highly recommended and I made an appointment. The staff there are very nice and they were able to squeeze me in within a couple of days. I went in for my initial consultation, where Dr Alavi went through a list of possible conditions that could be the cause of my issues. We were able to do a cat scan on sight and determine the best coarse of action. He is a straight shooter and takes the time to answer any questions you might have.
Ultimately, we decided that balloon sinuplasty was the best and least invasive technique to correct my condition. The procedure was not nearly as bad as I thought. Initially, when they told me I was going to be awake, I freaked out a little bit. During the procedure, Dr Alavi explained everything he was doing and his assistants were keeping me entertained and cracking jokes. Not a bad ordeal at all. Overall I would give this office a 5/5 for quality of staff, professionalism, cleanliness, responsiveness and outcome of the procedure. This is a first class practice and if you have any sinus issues, I would definitely recommend.

What a fantastic experience today. The staff was extremely nice and great customer service. Dr. Alavi was very attentive to my needs and detailed in my visit. He is such a super nice friendly, easy going, Dr and was very easy to talk to. I am relieved to have found a new ENT Dr.
